Frequently Asked Questions
When would my job become permanent?
We do not guarantee you a full-time job. If we hire
you, we do guarantee the opportunity to work with
one of our clients. In turn, you can demonstrate
your capabilities to that company. Whether or not
the job progresses from a temp to hire position
depends upon a number of factors, including but not
limited to:
-
whether the client
company needs a person full-time in that
position
-
whether the client
company is impressed with your skills and work
ethics
-
the type of employee
you have proven to be
As you can tell, you play a large role in
determining how long your job lasts and whether or
not the client company offers you a position.
What deductions are made from my check?
The
only deductions are ones about which you have been
previously informed, such as FIT (federal income
tax); FICA (social security); MEDI (Medicare); and
any other local, state, or federal taxes. Other
deductions may be made if mandated by a court or
requested by you in writing and approved by Ledford
management.
Does Ledford Exchange "keep" part of my check?
A
resounding NO! As the employer, we are not entitled
to any portion of your paycheck.
We pay you to work; you don't pay us to find you a
job.

When can we offer a full-time position to your

The
usual waiting period is 90 work days. We feel this
time is needed for you and our temporary employee to
evaluate each other. You will know whether or not
the employee fits the requirements of the job, and
the employee certainly will know the expectations of
your company. We strive to achieve a win-win
situation for both of you.
How can I contact you after office hours?
Our
office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (CST) Monday
through Friday. A staff member is on call after
hours and on weekends. You can reach us by calling
